Department of Environmental Engineering


       Department of Environmental Engineering, led by Associate Prof.B.Bold, consists of one professor, eight associate professors, sixteen senior lecturers, twelve lecturers, two educational engineers, three teaching assistants and one education assistants. 

Our department has undergraduate and graduate academic programs in various research areas including reduction of heat loss in buildings, air quality assessment methodologies, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, reprocessing of sludge from wastewater treatment plants, effect of wastewater treatment plants on surrounding environment, recycling technologies of wastes, water ecology, hydropower stations, improvement methods of natural water resources, water management, heat-isolation materials, ceramic materials, development of new materials, road design, road construction technologies, road maintenance, bridge construction methodologies, road construction materials and embankment studies.
